The Industrial Exhibition and Entrepreneurship Forum were inaugurated in the Samail Industrial City (Madayn) as part of the economic activities package of the Second Samail Festival. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Saeed Baowain, Minister of Labor, and attended by a number of specialists and those appointed to support entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises.

His Excellency the Minister of Labor said: "The Samayil Economic Forum represents an important platform for understanding the aspirations of entrepreneurs and the challenges they face, as entrepreneurship is a key pillar for achieving economic diversification and providing sustainable job opportunities. The figures we are witnessing today regarding the growth of small and medium enterprises confirm the importance of supporting this segment and continuing to work to enhance its role in building a more inclusive economy."

His Excellency added: "The Ministry, in cooperation with its partners, is working to provide innovative programs and financing plans that support entrepreneurs and help them transform their ideas into value-added projects. This forum reflects the spirit of cooperation between various entities to achieve this goal. We are committed to overcoming the challenges facing young people, in order to realize their visions and enrich the national economy."

He continued, "The industrial zone in Samayil is a model for sustainable development. It represents an environment that combines innovation and productivity. By enhancing cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises and major projects, we are establishing an integrated economic system that serves the aspirations of Oman Vision 2040."

He stated: "Omani youth are the true wealth of this nation, and investing in their skills and capabilities is an investment in a brighter future. The Ministry is working hard to provide the appropriate environment that enables them to achieve their ambitions and contribute effectively to the country's development."

The Entrepreneurs Forum included presentations on entrepreneurs' aspirations and means of achieving them, presented by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A presentation on financing available to entrepreneurs' projects was presented by the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises. The third presentation introduced the Oman Future Fund. The fourth presentation discussed youth and economic diversification, while the fifth presentation addressed financing products available to entrepreneurs.
